It is the Renter's responsibility to return the bike in the same condition that they found it. Before a rental takes place, we require the Renter to accept our Rental Agreement and its terms and conditions. Remember, our terms and conditions state that the Renter is liable for any damages, loss, or theft.
Flat tires can happen to anyone, and we know they are a huge pain in the you-know-what (sometimes literally). Unfortunately, if a flat occurs during the rental, it is the Renter's responsibility to pay for the repair cost. If damage protection is purchased, Spinlister will reimburse the costs.
Spinlister offers a Rental Protection Program to protect the Renter against costs of damage and theft. This is available for purchase during checkout when booking a ride.
The Spinlister Renter Protection Program does NOT cover bicycles locked outside overnight or that were secured with cable locks, or otherwise improperly locked.
Spinlister will not provide coverage under our Protection Program for damage that occurs during transportation as opposed to riding the bike. Examples include but are not limited to the bike being damaged while attached to a car rack, while being shipped or while being transported in a truck or van. In this event, the Renter will be responsible for any damages. Furthermore, Spinlister will not provide coverage for damage caused by disassembly, modification, or installation of accessories or bags.
